網紅的藏寶箱Independent band 拍謝少年 Sorry Youth returns to TAIWANfest AGAIN! After their performance in 2019, they met several democratic activists who were on The Blacklist. For the island they call home, these Taiwanese elders fought for freedom for the Taiwanese people overseas despite being barred from returning to Taiwan. Sorry Youth were extremely touched by the stories of these elders, and wrote the song “Justice in Time” in dedication to these unsung heroes, from their latest album “Bad Times, Good times.”
We also dedicate this to the generations upon generations of people in all corners of the world who continue to fight for the future of Taiwan!
2019 年，我們接受TAIWANfest Vancouver 加拿大台灣文化節的邀請至多倫多＆溫哥華演出，因緣際會下遇見幾位當年被列入海外黑名單無法返家的民主前輩們，在那年台灣政局相當動盪的當下，能夠跟睿智而溫暖的這些前輩們聊聊天，真的給我們很大的鼓勵，特別是在民主運動的這條路上，我們深深的感受到意念的傳承。
為了這座名為家的美麗島，這些民主前輩們，他們即使身在海外也想方設法聲援台灣的民主自由，出錢出力做台灣人的後盾！回國之後，我們就寫下了〈時代看顧正義的人〉，希望用音樂好好寫下這份信念，向上個世代的民主前輩，以及現今每一位捍衛台灣的人們致敬，這首歌也收錄於我們的最新專輯《歹勢好勢》。
2021年，非常感謝〈加拿大台灣文化節〉，我們因為這首歌能有機會再度合作，透過圖像插畫的方式傳達了當年加拿大民主前輩們在運動路上的故事，很榮幸〈時代看顧正義的人〉這首歌能作為配樂，製作了一支精彩的圖像音樂短片。
謹以此短片獻給一代代在世界各處為台灣未來奮鬥的台灣人們。
